ABOUT THE COMMUNITY CATHEDRAL
The Community Cathedral is a ministry of the Archdiocese of the Holy Spirit.The Community Cathedral is designed to provide liturgical and pastoral ministries to those who cannot attend services because they are confined to their homes or residences.Because the ministry is administered by the Archdiocese of the Holy Spirit, a jurisdiction of the Free Catholic Church, the Community Cathedral is available to everyone, regardless of denomination, faith tradition or lack thereof. The Sacraments are provided to everyone approaching them in faith. All baptized Christians, regardless of affiliation, are welcome to receive Holy Communion. The Community Cathedral is truly an ecumenical ministry in every respect.
THE MINISTRIES OF COMMUNITY CATHEDRAL
The Community Cathedral primarily provides Holy Communion, prayer services and the ministry of presence to those who cannot attend their own faith communities. All the Sacraments are available through the Community Cathedral. Bishops, priests and deacons are accessible by the ministers of the program.
THE PASTORS OF COMMUNITY CATHEDRAL
The ministries of the Community Cathedral, both liturgical and pastoral, are administered by highly qualified and ordained ministers of the Archdiocese of the Holy Spirit or other jurisdictions in communion with the Free Catholic Church. Each minister is a seminary graduate and has been trained in specific areas of pastoral care relative to the purpose of the Community Cathedral ministry. The most common ministers of the Community Cathedral ministry are ordained diaconal ministers of the Church.
